The mountain light overton sole is made by vibram but is made of a slightly different material than the standard mountain light which is the classic hiking sole design. I m going to give these boots a five star rating just because they seem to be well made and are relatively light. Danner boots are known for narrow lasts so going up in width is common. This is the most comfortable boot i ve tested and it keeps getting more comfortable the longer i use it.

For heavy duty comfort the danner mountain light ii is like stepping into a tank lined with velvet. Reviewed in the united states on january 24 2017 i m going to give these boots a five star rating just because they seem to be well made and are relatively light. I kicked the crap out of these boots for well over 400 miles in caves through briars and on gnarly rock outcroppings. It is my favorite of the stumptown collection probably because i am a sucker for suede roughout and white wedge soles.

The overton s sole is quite a bit slicker when transitioning from wet outside conditions to a smooth inside surface such as poured concrete like you might have in a garage or linoleum.
